Hardison Historical Home Site

Hardison Historical Home Site 56 Custom Homes situated on 19 acres in the City of Santa Paula on the historical site known as the Hardison House. The project will include the renovation of the historical Hardison House that was originally completed in 1884 and was the home of Wallace L. Hardison and his family. Mr. Hardison is remembered primarily for being a co-founder of both the Union Oil and the Limoneira Companies. The house style is a Victorian Era Farmhouse which will set the theme for the development incorporating this historical house as the center point of the development.

Oak & Third

Oak & Third 18 single-family townhouses as well as a community park sit on the corner of Oak Ave & Third Street in the City of Duarte. Each unit is approximately 1,600 square feet in size and feature outstanding architecture and a distinctive design.

Rubio Staking

20201021_164649 A mixed use development along San Gabriel Blvd that required construction staking for an existing storm channel that crossed the project. Southland assisted with construction staking and planning during the construction of this new portion of storm channel.

Regents of the University of California

Regents of the University of CaliforniaThe University of California Hansen Trust Property, Specific Plan Area, includes 36 acres of undeveloped land located at the southeast corner of Telegraph Road and Saticoy Avenue in the City of San Buenaventura, California.

The UC Hansen Trust Property Specific Plan represents a unique opportunity for a public institution, the University of California, and the City of Ventura to conduct a cooperative planning effort to meet a wide variety of community goals, needs, and priorities. The Specific Plan consist of 131 detached market rate single family homes, approximately 34 attached market rate row homes, 2 neighborhood parks, 3 mini-parks, 24 affordable farmhouse worker housing with additional public amenities and off-site public improvements both fulfilling the needs of the community and that of the developer in a cooperative collaboration.

Walnut – Simi Valley

Sugar GroveWALNUT – At the corner of Walnut and the newly constructed Sugar Grove in Simi Valley are 16 semi-custom homes constructed by DR Horton. Southland Civil had the pleasure of assisting the original land subdivider and the builder, entitle, subdivide and complete the project with a fire turnaround at the upper end of the block. Stormwater infiltration for capturing water from the site and street was integrated to recharge the ground water table. The project is now enjoyed by homeowners.

Sunset Boulevard VTTM

Shalhevet High SchoolShalhevet High School is a co-educational, college-preparatory, Modern Orthodox Jewish high school in Los Angeles, California. It is the only Modern Orthodox, co-educational Jewish day school in California.
Shalhevet has about 165 students in Grades 9 – 12 as of 2013 – 2014.

Complete with a discussion of the CEQA Analysis including recommendations of the EIR, Development Standards in the Specific Plan and their impact on site development cost and feasibility.

Sunkist Development – Planning & Tentative Map

Sunkist DevelopmentMixed Use – Commercial and Residential development of 298 unit residential apartments with subterranean parking. Commercial uses include a retail grocery store, restaurants and renovation of the existing Historical Sunkist Office Building. Four condo airspace lots are proposed as part of the master plan while including much need private open space area with Liner Parks in compliance with the LA River Revitalization Master Plan.
